Portrait of Sharon

The unveiling of Sharon's portrait went really well.  Tears flowed and hands clapped...
What more could I ask for?

I miss you, Dad.
I've got a never ending love for you
from now on, that's all I want to do
from the first time we met, I knew
I'd have a never ending love for you
After all this time of being alone,
we can love one another,
feel for each other from now on...
Feels so good I can hardly stand it
Never ending love for you
from now on, that's all I want to do
from the first time we met I knew
I'd have a never ending love for you...

I love you, Dad, so good I ever saw

Love your daughters, Shel, Suzy, and Bekka

I had a wonderfully inspiring weekend, thanks to Victor Forbes and Jamie of Fine Art Magazine.
Victor, Jamie and Tully came up to the country last weekend to see my art in person and discuss promoting my work. We had a really nice time and some good laughs over chili, cornbread and red wine sharing stories of D&B, spiritual happenings and journeys, a bit of astrology, and ART ART and more ART.  A huge heartfelt "thank you" for your expertise and input.  I am looking foreward to many years of success with you.
Victor...thank you for everything.

I can't believe the summer is almost over.  My home has been on the market for a month now and I can't wait to get home (Cali).  I miss my family and friends soooo much.  I'm all packed and ready to go...  Just waiting for the house to sell. I'll probably try to settle in Ojai. It has always been one of my "good medicine" places...my mom often took my sister Mikkol and I there for picnics by the creek.  That is one of my favorite memories of my childhood.
I've been working on a portrait of a good friend- now that I have finished restoring the house, I can focus on my work and hopefully finish her soon.
The past year has been a rough one for me.  Hard luck and troubles, and many things hurt my heart.  I really miss my Mamo.
I know I need to paint it, let my paintbrush do the crying for me if you know what I mean...should be interesting.

Please say a prayer for my Dad.  He has been very sick.
